
Deo Kato is a Ugandan-born British ultra-trail runner, run coach, personal trainer, adventurer, public speaker, and activist.
Deo is a renowned figure in the outdoor endurance running industry. He made history by becoming the first person to run from Cape Town to London, highlighting the history of human migration from Africa to the rest of the world. This remarkable achievement captured global attention and inspired hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. In 2020, Deo launched the "381 Days: Running For Justice" campaign, committing to running a minimum of 10 km each day for 381 days in response to the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis, inspired by the Montgomery Bus Boycott of 1955, which lasted the same length of time.
